Making Frozen Peaches at Home
Step 1: Purchase Peaches
Step 2: Wait till they are ripe. How do you know when they are ripe? When you squeeze them
and you can make an indentation.
Step 3: Wash peaches
Step 4: Peel and pit peaches
Step 5: Slice Peaches into 1/4 inch slices
Step 6: Dip into ascorbic acid solution (2 quarts water and 4 Tbs. Fruit Fresh)
Step 7: Get a cookie sheet and put a piece of parchement or wax paper on it
Step 8: Put the peaches on the paper in a single layer
Step 9: Put another piece of paper on top of the single layer of peaches
Step 10: repeat process. Do not make more than 12 layers
Step 11: Wrap entire stack of peaches in plastic saran wrap
Step 12: Freeze
Step 13: Take frozen peaches of paper and cookie sheet and store in ziploc freezer bags
*Peach slices freeze separately and do not freeze together by using this process

Strawberry Smoothie
2 c. frozen strawberries (sun sweetened, no added sugar)
3/4 c. fresh squeezed orange juice (I use my electric juicer purchased from JC Penny)
3/4 c. plain danon yogurt
1-2 ripe bananas
1 tsp. vanilla if desired
blend and enjoy!
Make a healthy frozen snack by pouring smoothie into small paper cups, inserting a popsicle stick, and freezing. Yum!
2 c. frozen strawberries (sun sweetened, no added sugar)
